Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Medical Assistant will be responsible for ensuring patient preparation for physician by taking vital signs, recording patient charges, recording patient history and assist in minor office procedures.
Daily Operation:
Ensures chart readiness prior to patient's visit;
Takes and logs in chart, patient's blood pressure, height, weight, temperature, pulse and respiration;
Assist provider with patient examinations, treatment and minor surgery;
Gives medications and injections under the physician supervision;
Assist in the collection of specimens;
Assist physician with patient examinations; treatment and minor surgery;
Performs all other duties as assigned by department manager.

CLAIMS PROCESSOR
Under the supervision of the Claims Manager, the Claims Processor is responsible to prepare and record all senior and commercial claims for payment processing.
Daily Opererations:
Process and adjudicate all incoming claims into the computer system for payment processing, according to timeliness guidelines;
Process and adjudicate all incoming provider encounter data, on a weekly basis;
Review processed claims for compliance;
Research and process health plan claims appeals;
Assist providers and health plans with claims inquiries
Performs all other duties as assigned by department manager

CLAIMS AUDITOR
Under the supervision of the Claims Manager, the Auditor is responsible for the overall succesful compliance of the Claims Department in relation to hospital and professional claims process and auditing.
Daily Operation:
Audit professional/hospital claims;
Prepare monthly reporting statistics to Claims Manager;
Research, process and respond to all health plan hospital claims appeals, according
to timeliness guidelines;
Run reports for potential overpayment;
Performs all other duties as assigned

Case Manager/Health Educator
Under the general supervision of the Director of Quality Management will be responsible for the overall successful management of the case management and health education programs.
SKILLS:
Able to work independently. Has knowledge of industry standards and expectations. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within this field. Excellent verbal and written skills. Computer literate with knowledge of Excel/Word. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
