Bone Density
The Health & Wellness Center also offers Bone Density screenings for osteoporosis.  Osteoporosis is a disease in which your bones become fragile and more likely to break.  If not prevented or left untreated, osteoporosis can progress painlessly until a bone breaks. 

Diabetes Education and Nutrition Services
We, at  Choice Medical Group offer our members and our community a variety of Health Education classes and seminars.  We believe knowledge is power.  The more you know about your health, the more proactive you can be about your lifestyle.  Healthy Living Seminars are held monthly and are open to the public.  We also hold a Diabetic Education Class in both English and Spanish

Pap Smears
The Health & Wellness Center offers convenient appointments for your annual well woman exam.  This is a procedure that collects cells from cervix, the lower, narrow end of the uterus. Laboratory analysis of the sample is used to detect any abnormalities that might suggest the presence of abnormal cell, infection or inflammation. 

Gardasil Injections
We also offer Gardasil injections at the Health & Wellness Center.  What is Gardasil and what is it used for? Gardasil a vaccine that helps protect against the following diseases cause by Human Papillomvirus (HPV) cervical cancer, abnormal and precancerous cervical lesions, abnormal precancerous vaginal lesions, abnormal and precancerous vulvar lesions and genital warts. Gardasil helps prevent these diseases but will not treat them.

Healthy Lifestyle Program
Choice Medical Group offers a program geared to weight management and nutrition information.  This class educates our patients on how to lose weight with eating the right food, what causes  being overweight and the impact on your well-being.  What the difference is  between  dieting and eating healthy.  Ask your primary care physician for your referral.
